To know if you’re part of the select group with access to AI-powered chats. Tap on the new chat icon, select “New AI Chat,” accept the terms and conditions, and choose Meta AI or another character to prompt interactions. Alternatively, in a group chat, type “@MetaAI” followed by your query to unleash the assistant.
Meta, the company behind this generative AI chatbot, introduced it in September for WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram, supporting the English language. The chatbot can engage in text-based interactions and generate photorealistic images based on text prompts.
