Noriaki Abe, Chief Officer of Motorcycle and Power Products at Atlas Honda, shared that the Honda BENLY e would undergo test marketing, with future releases shaped by market feedback. Sabir Sheikh, Chairman of the Association of Pakistan Motorcycle Assemblers (APMA), shared with Business Recorder that Honda bike prices are expected to be higher than Chinese competitors in the local market. He estimated the Honda electric bike’s price to be around Rs. 900,000, anticipating that locally manufactured e-bikes will increase to 4,000-5,000 units per month by June next year, up from the current 1,000 units.
Sheikh advised buyers to choose motorcycles from companies with production facilities for better after-sales support. Public interest in Honda’s electric bike is evident, with numerous inquiries pouring in as excitement builds for the groundbreaking Honda BENLY e to hit Pakistani roads.
