The new Xbox dashboard on the Alpha Skip Ahead basically looks like a mirror of the Game Pass app for TVs.
Does Microsoft NOT LISTEN to feedback here? What's the point of dynamic backgrounds with this design?

Xbox Dashboard Design: A New Storefront
Microsoft has been updating the Xbox dashboard gradually over the past year, but the new design is now pushing up the layout of the tiles further to the top of the page, obscuring the view of whatever theme you’ve opted for. The rows of Xbox Game Pass content below the fold cannot be customized in any way, frustrating users who preferred the customizable layout of earlier dashboard versions.

Microsoft seems resistant to user feedback requesting a more minimalistic dashboard design that prioritizes content and themes over large advertising blocks and rows of suggested content. The company’s partners have confirmed that the delivery of store content in the dashboard is critical for software sales, but users hope for a compromise that can be reached between functionality and aesthetics.

One popular redesign idea making the rounds on social media is the minimalist dashboard concept from @Souls_Ninja on Twitter. While it’s currently in the Xbox Insider Program on the Skip Ahead Ring, its design is expected to be tweaked before its release. Nevertheless, this new concept design and other similar ideas in Photoshop and other platforms could point to an eventual shift in Microsoft’s platform perspective towards Xbox Game Pass.
Leave Feedback via the Xbox Insider Hub
If you’re in the Xbox Insider Program, you can leave respectful, constructive feedback via the Xbox Insider Hub app on your Xbox console. In the meantime, users are hopeful that Microsoft will consider their feedback and create a dashboard that’s both user-friendly and visually appealing.
