Genesis Systems has introduced the WaterCube (WC-100), the world’s first home atmosphere-to-water generator. This cutting-edge device is capable of producing 120 gallons of fresh, potable water daily, offering a sustainable solution to global water scarcity issues.
The WaterCube is designed to generate pure drinking water by utilizing the moisture present in the air. The system employs a sophisticated condensation method to extract water vapor, converting it into clean, drinkable water. This technology not only champions sustainability but also provides a pollution-free water source, positioning it as a significant advancement in environmental technology.
Genesis Systems has highlighted that the WaterCube can be used in various settings, including residential homes, off-grid locations, and areas where portable water sources are required. The system is designed to operate continuously, ensuring a constant supply of water 24 hours a day.
Traditional water sources often come with environmental challenges, including the depletion of natural water bodies and the production of harmful by-products. The WaterCube, however, aims to mitigate these issues by using renewable energy sources such as solar power. This approach not only promotes sustainability but also reduces the strain on existing water resources like aquifers and reservoirs.
“The WaterCube is designed to offer a sustainable and reliable water source that can operate independently of traditional water systems,” said a representative from Genesis Systems. “Neighborhoods in the future may include WaterCubes for each household, virtually eliminating the need for municipal water systems.”
The WaterCube has demonstrated an impressive capability to yield over 100 gallons of pure water per day. Tests conducted at 80 degrees Fahrenheit and 60 per cent relative humidity confirmed the system’s efficiency. The device is engineered to function optimally in humidity ranges between 40 per cent and 100 per cent, with ideal conditions being temperatures above 59 degrees Fahrenheit.

The water produced by the WaterCube meets stringent quality standards set by the US, NSF, and other international bodies. Genesis Systems assures that the water is safe for consumption, adhering to rigorous national and international benchmarks.
Equipped with advanced filtration and treatment systems, the WC-100 ensures the highest quality of water. The device features a 0.01-micrometer changeable water filter, UV water treatment, and a Merv 13 air filter. These components work together to remove impurities and provide clean, safe drinking water.
Genesis Systems emphasized the potential of the WaterCube to address water scarcity issues, particularly in regions lacking reliable water infrastructure. “By generating water from the air, the WaterCube reduces the dependence on other water resources, offering a viable solution for areas facing water shortages,” the company stated.
