WhatsApp, part of Meta, is bringing its popular Channels feature to more than 150 countries. This means people from all over the world can join in on the fun and enjoy new features.
Mark Zuckerberg, introduced this expansion on his own WhatsApp channel. He’s excited about it and says, “I’m starting this channel to share Meta news and updates.” So, now you can get updates right from him.
When you follow channels, your personal information stays private. No one will know you’re following them. Your phone number is safe and sound.
Using emojis in chats is now a thing! You can react to messages with emojis, and you’ll see how many others felt the same way. It makes chatting more expressive.
WhatsApp helps you find interesting channels near you. It’s like having a personalized TV guide. When you share a channel’s update with friends, it will link back to the original channel.
If you’re in charge of a channel, good news! You can edit your messages even after you’ve sent them, up to 30 days later. And for regular group chats, you have a 15-minute window to fix things.
