When I was ready to start typing this post, I selected the header image from Getty Images. Before organizing, I needed to take the time to read through the mock-up.
As you can see, a fetus is an answer. Unfortunately, a word was removed from the New York Times solutions list due to the entire Supreme Court, Roe V Wade thing. This is a delicate subject that has fierce opinions from both sides. I assume the paper of record is trying to avoid causing any controversy by publishing its latest word puzzle game.
Today’s Wordle is much less controversial than yesterday’s (though fetuses aren’t that controversial, either). So let’s have a look.
Today’s Wordle #373 Answer & Hint
Spoilers ahead, as always. There are spoilers in the store. Spoilers at every turn. We hate spoilers if they aren’t warned!
A hint: Old school.
The answer is “Yes.”
My initial guess was that it had rained so hard yesterday. It was a torrential downpour. Multiple flash flood warnings were sent to my mobile phone. Because of the severe flooding, they closed down some streets temporarily.
The steam stopped, and the sun rose again. The smoke was visible coming from the streets. It was beautiful. It’s monsoon season, and each day brings new surprises. Sometimes it rains early, and then it gets sunny. Sometimes it rains in the afternoon, but it is lovely all day. Monsoons are great because they can trade between sunny and rainy no matter what. It has the best of both.
Rainy got me down to 29 solutions (on average, it’s 113), then rouge eliminated the other 28 leaving me with one. However, I didn’t think of retro and chose redos instead. Wordle Bot said it needed to “look up,” but this was impossible. I wish retro had been there sooner. But I did get the correct answer the second time.
