We’ll likely be seeing the new edition of Resident Evil 2, 3, and 7: Biohazard over the next week as Database listings were found just right to prepare for Capcom Showcase.
In the wake of the Capcom showcase announcement on Twitter, the account PlayStation Game Size ( has found Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 on the PSN backend. According to reports, the game has taken 21.8GB and 20.48GB, and 20.48GB of storage. The status of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard’s PS5 version is not known; however, it will likely be within the next few months.
According to the source of this leak, we’ve not received any information about this latest version that is part of Microsoft’s Xbox Series X/S versions; however, we’re not too worried. Microsoft’s latest-gen console was featured in the announcement. Capcom, earlier this year, when announced a new generation of Resident Evil ports for the three games mentioned. We cannot think of why it wouldn’t be possible to launch the Xbox versions of the games that couldn’t be released simultaneously.
These ports would likely go live either at or shortly after the Capcom Showcase, which will take to the stage on 13 June. Since Capcom has announced that it will focus on “in-depth updates” for previously released games, the chance is very good of 3 Resident Evil entries appearing.

It’s been an intense week of action for Capcom. In this year’s June 2022 State of Play presentation, Resident Evil 4 Remake was confirmed along with PSVR 2. Integration for Resident Evil 4 in addition to Resident Evil 4, as in Resident Evil Village. Likely, we’ll learn more regarding these. However, this isn’t all we’ll find out about.
You’ve likely been informed about Capcom’s E3 2021 presentation, where the publisher announced in which it announced that Resident Evil Village would receive DLC, which we’ve not had before. There’s no time for releasing the multiplayer-focused Resident Evil Re: Verse either; that’s why updates for both are likely.
Whatever happens over the coming week, Resident Evil fans have lots to look forward to.
