The Eco-Floating Hotel spans 35,000 square meters (376,000 square feet) and will feature 152 rooms. The design resembles a large glass doughnut with integrated greenery and a stunning vortex-like glass roof, similar to Moshe Safdie’s iconic indoor waterfall. The hotel is set to be situated just off the shore, supported by a series of floating platforms, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
One of the most remarkable aspects of the Eco-Floating Hotel is its ability to rotate slowly, completing a full revolution every 24 hours. This gentle rotation, controlled by a dynamic positioning system (DP) similar to those used in maritime vessels, ensures that guests will not experience any dizziness. The DP system employs a series of thrusters and propellers to maintain the hotel’s position and manage its rotation, making it both stable and energy-efficient.

Guests will access the hotel via a pier connected to the shore, by helicopter, or by boat. The interior of the hotel centers around a grand 700-square-meter lobby, leading to the 152 luxurious rooms. The hotel also includes indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a sauna, a spa, a gym, and even a miniature golf course, providing guests with a plethora of leisure options.
The Eco-Floating Hotel is designed with sustainability at the forefront. The vortex shape of the roof is intended to collect rainwater for irrigation and other uses. Solar panels and wind turbines are integrated into the design to harness renewable energy.
