Are you a lover of everything that the Pro Cinema Laser projector LS12000 had to offer, except the price? We have some good news for you. Most of its gaming-related technology is available now as a cheap laser projector made by this same company.

The Home Cinema LS11000 4K PRO-UHD (via Engadget) is yet another projector that is 4K from Epson that promises exceptional performance when it comes to image quality. Epsom promises sharp and crisp 4K images up to 300-inches of screen size. Also, those who own PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will get the most of the fast refresh rate of 120Hz in this resolution.

Furthermore, gamers can take advantage of the projection’s minimal input lag, and Epson states that it will be under 20 milliseconds. While professional gamers might desire a display that is lightning fast, the majority of people won’t notice any delay, even when they do.

It is also compatible with HDR10, HLG, and HDR10+ (though Dolby Vision is not available). However, the projector can have Dolby Atmos compatibility. Connect it to one of the best soundbars you can find and get the perfect home cinema setup.

The cost is $3,999 (or PS4,099 (around 5,450 in AUD). You’ll save $1000 compared to The Pro Cinema’s LS12000, but as you’d expect, there are some drawbacks with this model that aren’t costly.

This is the thing.

The Home Cinema LS11000 may be slightly brighter than the LS12000, which has 2500 lumens compared to 2,700. It’s unlikely to be significant, but one thing you can’t overlook is the contrast ratio which drops from 2,500,000:1 to 1200,000:1 if you choose the LS11000 with a lower price instead of the top-end LS12000.

Contrast is crucial to provide the image with clarity and a natural look. Contrast is vital for natural-looking and clarity. Home Cinema LS11000’s lower contrast ratio means that there will be less clarity in the images it displays. Yet, the ratio of 1,200,000:1 is acceptable, even though it’s not the best quality.

We’ll have to try each of these projectors ourselves to determine how they stack up against one another. But, based according to the specification for Epsom’s Home Cinema LS11000 4K laser projector, it appears to be a great alternative.

If you’re looking to spend on a new projector to your gaming console, you’ll need to consider this projector and other options once it’s released towards the close of the month in the US. If you’re inside the UK, the projector is available on the internet under EH-LS11000W.
